Game And Nature Reserve


Hawane Nature Reserve was first established in 1978 to protect an area of marsh along the Mbuluzi River. This area included the natural habitat of Kniphofia umbrina, a rare Swaziland endemic red hot poker.


Hlane Royal National Park is a protected area in northeastern Swaziland. A flat, lowland area with grassland and shallow pans, the park is traversed by the Umbuluzana River. Roads and trails offer views of diverse wildlife such as lions, elephants, hippos, white rhinos, leopards and giraffes. White-backed vultures and other raptors nest in the ancient hardwood trees. Mbuluzi Game Reserve is a privately owned reserve in Swaziland, within the Lubombo Conservancy. There are 3 lodges privately situated on the Mlawula River, and a campsite, situated above some rapids in the Mbuluzi River. Address: Swaziland Phone: +268 2383 8861

Mkhaya Game Reserve is a protected area in Swaziland. It is located along the MR8 road. In the southeast of Swaziland, the heart of the lowveld, lies a magnificent unspoilt wilderness, haven to endangered species which roam the magnificent African bush.
